SASSA will be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regards to the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on sassa a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
